EXPLORING THE IMPOSSIBLE

I was brought on an unexpected journey of exploration on what faith was, and decided to make floral arrangements that were inspired by a reflection piece I wrote some time back.

It dawned upon me the dangers of the sea now that I have to venture alone. In the kayak, there is nobody else, only you, steering that heavy piece of equipment that probably doesn't bear much weight against the sea. The waves do not hold back for anyone. Who then do you depend on? 

The wind and waves know His name.

I had a glimpse of the fear of Jesus' disciples when they were called to walk on water. "How is that possible? It's the sea. It's water." Logic convinces that walking on water is impossible; experience convinces the same too. A natural man would think that it's foolishness to go ahead despite the knowledge of impossibility. Yet there Jesus was, calling upon the impossibility. He called for His disciples to trust Him, to look at Him as they walked, so that even the impossible becomes possible. Such is the premise of faith.
